Second day of Birdies
I decided to go ahead and put the new birdie in the big cage. Below is a picture of Birdie trying to put the moves on BirdieTwo (he's not very smooth):Friday, August 22, 2008
My New Addition
I've been dying to get a dog, but due to travel schedule and living conditions, it's been hard for me to reason it out. So, I decided to get another parakeet today. At first, it seemed scared (understandably); now it's chirping away with Birdie. I have them in separate cages until they get used to each other, but Birdie hasn't even seen another bird in over four years and the other just came from a huge cage of birds, so I think the company is very welcome. BirdieTwo REAAAALLY wants out of that cage and into the other, but I still am cautious of invading Birdie's territory. BirdieTwo has a slightly different chirp than Birdie... kind of more feminine, if you will. Let's hope they don't give me babies.I need help with deciding on a name other than BirdieTwo. Please help!!
And of course, with something new comes pictures. Below are my birds' mugshots:
Now, I have a series of photos that I thought just screamed for commentary:

Trust?
It's been quite a while since posting... there just hasn't been anything I've really wanted to post. But now, after falling victim one too many times, I have a question for everyone:Where should the line be drawn in reference to trust? Is it better to be too trusting and get hurt or to trust very little and likely push the other person away?
This can be in relation to friendship or dating... doesn't matter. I'm just absolutely dying to understand. Perhaps I never will. So it goes.
