I am FINALLY having my church membership interview!!! I am really excited, but really nervous at the same time. Presbyterians take church membership MUCH more seriously than Baptists, so I really have no idea what to expect. For my FBCPV interview, it was very simple - a few questions to "ensure" that I was a true believer, which was followed by baptism a couple Sundays later. This same interview process goes on with 5 year olds that "proclaim their faith and get saved," so maybe that tells you what it was like. Anyway, I am meeting our pastor, Mike Biggs, and one of our church elders, Danny Cary, at the church office at 8:30pm. I'm mostly nervous because when I am asked questions in situations like that, normally I say really stupid things (I know at least one person reading this can attest to that!) So we'll see how that goes :-)It has been a really long couple of weeks... so hopefully things will clear up soon!
