Movies movies movies!
Pretty busy day. Worked from 7-10:15. German was at 10:30, for which I had to turn in a movie summary and homework and then take a vocabulary quiz. I finally got the nerve to ask her about rescheduling a test due to a conflict with something that isn't exactly a good enough reason to do so, but she said I could if someone else needs to also. So that was exciting. From there, I went to Financial Aid to turn in my long awaited tax papers. Found out that I have to have specific information from my mom about her income, even though she is in Australia. Great.. She also told me that I have the option of claiming independent status, but I have to go through this long process of letters and interviews and all this junk... something that will be long and tedious. So I need to think about that more.
I went home after that and wanted to take a nap after lunch, but ended up watching the first few episodes of Friends. Then fell asleep. Carilyn and I were supposed to go to watch Batman Begins at 4pm at Meacham. That movie definitely wasn't what I was expecting it to be, but it was fun. Our friend, Jessica Richards, got engaged last weekend!! There was an engagement party last night and we stopped by on our way out. She told the story of the proposal. *sigh* It was so cute. Except afterward I started thinking of a proposal story I was told in January or so, which made me a little sad.
After that, it was time for Girls' Movie Night with Carrie! We watched Pirates of the Caribbean (my first time to watch it without falling asleep!) It was much smaller than the last one (8 girls versus 30 last time.) And of course, with this group, when they aren't watching the movie, they are staring at bridal magazines. That didn't help my case any. haha. So I ended up gushing about some things... to the extent that Carrie told me I wasn't allowed to come back to girls' movie night!!! I know she was kidding, but I do need to stop talking about him. STOP IT Megan!!!!
Sleep time comes soon...
