Stuff
So cool!Yesterday, I got to see THE Ed Lorenz - the brains behind the concept of the modern chaos theory. I've heard his name (he has an AMS Symposium named for him) and I knew he had something to do with chaos. It was so neat to actually see/listen to him.
After the seminar, I went to talk to Leslie (a technician) about decommissioning sensors. Guess what she did?? She gave me two huge boxes of sensors to work on. :-) I am a happy Megan. This is going to be such a tease if they don't hire me on full-time.
We have a career fair on Thursday. It's good that I'm not graduating because I won't be able to attend very much of it, if at all. There are a few people I am interested in talking to, namely the Air Force. We'll see how that goes. According to my tech writing teacher, I have an amazing resume for a technician position, so hopefully I have nothing to worry about anyway. :-)
