Today has been somewhat productive.

My alarm started going off at 7:30 because we had a service project at the Baptist Children's Home today for RUF. Around the same time, I hear this random beeping noise and I couldn't figure out what it was. Then I remembered that I changed the sound on my pager. Something broke at work, but I couldn't do anything though I wanted to make sure everything was okay before leaving town for the day. So I ended up being a little late for meeting everyone and ended up just driving there myself. It was a group of about 10 or so and we did various things like pick up scrap metal, weedwhack, paint a fence, etc. I strained a shoulder muscle while picking something up awkwardly, so now I have an aching pain in my left shoulder and I can't turn my head to the right or lift my arms above my head without it hurting. Hopefully it will go away soon! After we were done, we met up at Andrew's park for pizza. It was a really great day to do work and talk to other people and relax (at least for me). I am very glad I was able to go.

For the past few hours, I've been at Sarkeys working on german and my synoptic project and emailing about the bible. I am really excited about my synoptic project - "The Effects of the Non-vertical profile of a Radiosonde on its Measurements." I have about 100 more pages of journal articles to read (out of the 200 or so total.) And I'm really excited about discussing stuff in the Bible with someone. I love getting questions that make me think because otherwise I most likely wouldn't think of those things. So, thank you so much for doing it! (you know who you are.) German is also going really well. I like the language a lot. I missed two days within the past week, so it was kind of hard to get back into it. We have our midterm next thursday and friday... that should go well.

As for the rest of the day, the OU/KU game starts in an hour. I will probably watch that and knit/crochet. :-)
