"You are approved..."
:-)!!!A quite stressful day ends with two great things:
1) I am now a member of Christ the King Presbyterian church
2) I received a very special postcard
My interview went all right... I think they could tell I was nervous. I don't like being put on the spot!! Afterward, I thought of some things that I could have said. I got a little worried because after the actual interview part, they asked me to leave the room while they conversed. I was thinking, "Great... they don't think I'm ready." But then they invited me back in and we discussed the vows of membership. It made me so happy to finally have everything over with. I've been attending for three years and have had my membership info in since March. But now, I am officially a member :-)
I got home around 10pm and decided to go check the mail. I noticed a postcard in there that looked like junk mail, but I recognized the handwriting. Then I saw who it was addressed to. Then I smiled. Then I cried. Then I actually read the postcard. Cried again. haha. It was a wonderful, wonderful ending to such a busy day.
