Tornado?
My roommate and I were talking a few evenings ago and she said that everything would be better if our apartment got destroyed. Since then, I have experienced the following:1) A dream where J. Boties Convenience Store had a fire, then exploded. Later in the dream, my apartment had a mystery fire (and one of my bosses was hanging Spiderman sheets up on his bedroom walls as decoration). Pretty crazy.
2) Tornado warning for Cleveland and McClain counties. Nothing really happened, but there was a decent couplet that formed and went over us. I also just found out that there were tornadoes in Oklahoma yesterday around the time I left work(I was completely oblivious) and rotation had actually formed over the NWC. Pretty interesting. As for today, there was a ton of rain and some wind. Somehow the rumor got started of a tornado next to the Lloyd Noble Center, but that wasn't anything. The tornado sirens went off in Norman for the first (real) time since October 9, 2001. I didn't hear them because I was at work in the NWC. And I couldn't hear the security people on PA saying to take shelter. How comforting..
Of course, I didn't have my camera with me at work and I was going nuts. When most of it was over, I got a call about a beautiful double rainbow to the east. It was gorgeous. I attempted to get some pics on my phone, but they didn't really come out well. I tried to get my roommate to take a few with my camera (below), but it's still not the same. Oh well. It was beautiful though. It's just been overall crazy today.
