A Little Discovery

I was organizing things around my apartment and found some stuff from a summer science academy I attended in July 1999. Among the vectors and petry dish data, I found a poem that I wrote. It's kind of cheesy, but it's worth a blog post. haha.

"As she stands on the ledge
Her life flashes by
Frame by frame, joy and sorrow
And the grave in which she will lie.

She sees her 5th birthday,
And the presents she didn't get;
The Christmas when she was 7
While her mom wasn't well yet.

So she says goodbye to this world
And enters into the next.
She just took a leap into the fires of Hell
For an eternity of regret.

Learn from this pitiful soul
See the good in life, not the bad
Thank God for all of your blessings
Share his joy, and you will be glad."

Great memories...

My senior year of high school, my friend decided that he would start work on his sophomore film, The Great Gatzbini. It was obviously based off of 'The Great Gatsby', but with a several character twists: Gatsby was a magician, Jordan (me) was a pro-wrestler, Tom was a fat man, and I can't remember the other ones.

It would have gone much better if we didn't bicker all the time. It got so bad at one point that people stormed off the set. I know there was a final product, but what happened to that, I'll never know. However, there is a music video of sorts. It's probably not very interesting to anyone other than the select few that were in it, but watch if you care.
